-“Let it rain let it rain”, thought of good year blimp, let people float high, used in previous years for vacations, one that burst with hydrogen but God’s plan is safe.
-Pouring out his love for us, Lord is pronouncing and proclaiming His love over us, each one, each heart, how precious and special and unique and powerful He’s made each one of us. Some of us are struggling to feel worthy to receive that love, struggle in our hearts, voice of enemy keep us receiving all the benefits of His love to rain down on us, let us know with thunder that we are worthy and He’s made us worthy to receive His love, His love has made us worthy to receive His love. That love is embodied in the flesh, His name is Jesus.
-“I love you and I have a plan for you; you will live to see these days restored.”
-Exodus 20:4-6, 12-“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.… Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” Vs 4 about Metro’s past: let the past be the past, yes gain wisdom and knowledge but step into the promises of who and what I’ve called you into. Vs 12 yes we are to honor our past and heritage and those who were forerunners and went before us, but we are to let the past be the past and step into the promises Vs5 “of them that hate Me”- that’s not us! We love the Lord, He will not pass on our iniquities. He’s a jealous God Vs6 “showing mercy unto thousands that love Me and keep my commandments”, tell them they are only 200 but I see thousands. The Lord see’s thousands when He looks at us, means multiplication. Pray: we will not have graven images before you in hearts, minds, spirits, bodies, we will honor those who went before us, as for Your mercy, show us your mercy, multiply us to thousands, bless our children, continue to give us instruction, comfort and edification.
-Church as whole and for women: desire that you have to be pursued by someone, that’s how the Lord pursues you and that’s also how He also wants to be pursued, we were made in the Lord’s image, God also has desire to be pursued, He’s calling us to pursue Him whole heartedly, with that same desire that we have that we want so badly for someone to love us, married, unmarried, young, old, all of us want to be pursued, to be beautiful, that’s what the Lord wants with us, Lord wants that place in our hearts that says You are beautiful and I pursue You, You are worth my pursuit, I don’t’ want anything besides You, I just want to look at you all my days, and just behold the glory of the Lord, Lord cries out “Pursue Me, please pursue Me!” don’t put your sin in front of what I did on that cross, don’t say that My love isn’t big enough to take away everything you have done or everything that inside of you that is wrong, if we put down that cross, we have nothing.
-Heard Lord say “come to me as a child”, He’s calling us to run to Him as a child.
-It’s time for show and tell, for the acts and demonstrations of his spirit and His hand to be shown in our lives and in people’s lives, so that we can tell about it. Not just another prophetic word that you can just hang your hat on and say I’m still believing for it, many people have different words and it’s time for those words to come about, time for the answer to those words to come about. Dream: playing football, Mary K and I were running down the field and handing the ball back and forth to each other, she was about to be tackled and would throw to the ball to me, and I would throw back to her when I was about to get taken out, looking out for each other, keep the ball going; young mother on the line playing tackle opening holes, most of the people in the body of Christ: you are the unsung heroes, young moms that are holding the line, those that do unseen acts of service, you’re holding the line, team effort so that the ball can be advanced, time for show and tell, time for the acts of the Lord to be shown in people’s lives, talking about the answers to prayers for jobs and finances, the stopping of the acts of the enemy in people’s lives, foreclosures, bankruptcies, reversals of position. Pray: release the reversals for fortune, for young mothers holding the line every day, pray for strength, grace, feel Your pleasure in their daily acts of service, business man/employee-daily of service, thank You that You honor that, that they would see the release of Your power in the workplace, home and church, that they would be able to tell of the works of the Lord.
-Verse where Peter denies Jesus, think it’s cause he was offended at God, Jesus was supposed to come annihilate the Romans and here He is accepting His judgment in court. How many of us would be here and would know God as our Father and know Jesus as our Savior if He came to annihilate the Romans, God’s plan was far beyond Peter, God’s plan is far beyond our minds, if we are offended, we need to lay it down, it’s not going to look how we want it to, may look weird and not glorious at all, but how much better was it, look at all those brought to Jesus through the cross, the Holy Spirit is coming in power whether we like it or not, it’s time to put down our offense. Pray: break off the judgment and offense against You, Your plan is better no matter what it looks or feels like.
-If we draw near to Him He will draw near to us, it’s a promise. He will draw near. His love is so great and his promises are true and he will draw near to us. 2Corinthians 1:20-“or no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.”, Joshua 3:5- Joshua told the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.", corporate and personal, we can believe again that His promises are true and that is answer us to us yes to those promises, He will do wonders among us
-Romans 12:9-21 “[Metro your] Love [is] sincere. [You] hate what is evil; cling to what is good. [You are] devoted to one another in brotherly love. [You] honor one another above yourselves. [You are not] lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. [You are] joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. [You] share with God's people who are in need. [You] practice hospitality. [You] bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. [You] rejoice with those who rejoice; [you] mourn with those who mourn. [You] live in harmony with one another. [You are not] proud, but [you are] willing to associate with people of low position. [You are not] conceited. [You] do not repay anyone evil for evil. [You are] careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, [you] live at peace with everyone. [You] do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay, "says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." [You are not] overcome by evil, but [you] overcome evil with good.” There’s just something about Metro, something about the love I feel every time I come, Metro is so good about loving people, it’s like being with a good family, we are a good family, He sees this work you do and the love you have for people, you love people so well and it delights His heart, His heart skips a beat when He looks our way, He loves you and sees the love we have for people and He delights in that.
-“Unsatisfied”, supposed to be a word of encouragement, He wants us to be unsatisfied as a people, where our relationship is with Him, that we would desire to go deeper places with Him, that He would meet us there, He wants to hug us as his children, hug like when something tragic has happened, like when lost a child and then find them again and hug so tightly you’re squeezing the air out of them, that’s the kind of embrace that He wants us to desire from Him; also that we would have the ability to focus not on our own inabilities or the inabilities of others, or the overwhemlingness of circumstances or the obstacles that we’re all facing but to rest and to genuinely rest and to focus on the abilities of God. Psalm 18:28-30 “You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.” More trust, less fear.
-“Let the weak say I am strong.” Ranford picture of that-physical weakness that he has but he is strong, embraced the strength that was afforded to him and available to him, from Joel, Lord did not say let the weak say I am not weak, He said let the weak say I am strong, individually we may be weak, may have areas of weakness in our life, emotionally or socially or physically, need to embrace the strength that is available to you, corporately-book of Joel talks about the battle of the day of the Lord that is coming, we may feel week but we need to find that place of strength and embrace it in our church and individually, globally need to embrace the lord, He is our strength, He is the overcomer, will prepare us for whatever battle comes, the day of the Lord is coming, even though we feel week “do not feel ashamed of your weakness”, He is not ashamed of us in our tears or weakness, not ashamed of the place we find ourselves in, seek and find the strength that is for each one of us.
-Lot of times we can be offended at people and that keeps us back from the fear of God, instead have fear of man, keeps me from coming up to pray, but where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, the Spirit of the Lord is in all of us, freedom in this place in Jesus’ name!!
-Dream: Maricia and Jim, we were taking care of kids but I wasn’t very good at it, wanted to be good but wasn’t, running around this track and getting ready to go into the service, had to change clothes, didn’t fit very well, didn’t have shoes, Joyce Wallace gave me shoes to wear, “Here are your new shoes”, didn’t match my outfit, but were the most beautiful shoes, “these shoes will do very very well.”, it’s time to put on the shoes even if they don’t match your outfit.
-We’re all hearing about the “new wine”, when young people drink new wine they act like you think they’ll act, get a bit crazy, fun to watch, fun to see them enjoy the Lord just like we used to, when adult drinks new wine get quiet and sedated, wonder why it’s not the same, have I outgrown it, or are we calling the new wine something different, are we criticizing it?, please don’t judge the new wine, cause our kids and young adults are drinking it, and we need some, if there is any criticalness about the term “new wine” please go to the Lord about it, cause our kids are drinking it
-“New Birth.” “to give light” used in Spanish when a woman goes into labor, Lord gave hope and a promise of new birth to Elizabeth and Zechariah, to Mary, John and Jesus gave light, this last year was hard but in it God was faithful, we need that new birth, in all our gifting and all the wonderful glorious things that God does for us as we mature, it’s process of constant birth, a lot of healings that need to happen, word for the church is to “be expectant”, Father wants to release new birth and He wants to give light.
-Was offended by God for the last 8 months, God is trustworthy and He is faithful, if there are things that offend you in this new season of Metro as we go forward, if there are things that you start to question and wonder is this right is this where I’m supposed to be, God is faithful and trustworthy, even if it’s hard to stay as near to Him as you want to be, He will come through for you, restoration is awesome, I am so happy to say that God loves us, and He is faithful.
-“Beauty for ashes”, kinda sums up the theme of all these prophetic words, however it applies in your situation, offer up ashes, God will give you the beauty, when young Christian had picture of clenched hand with what I thought was treasure, He wanted me to give it to Him, when I finally gave it to Him, He gave me a diamond to put in its place, every single one of us has blown it in some way or another or been disappointed, when God comes to us and He wants us to give Him something it’s not to con us out of it like Satan does, He wants us to willingly unclench our fists and give it to Him and He can give us something He wants to give us, but He can’t give it to us until we give up what we want or have or think is so important, beauty for ashes.
-Anointing has never left this house, Isaiah 61:1-2 “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on [Metro], because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor.” These signs shall follow those who believe, we will heal the sick and they shall recover, we will raise the day, we will bind up the broken hearted, that anointing is still upon metro, we are called to walk boldly in that calling, call forth the dead, breathe life into the things that look dead, as Ezekiel breathed over dry bones, we’re breathing the gifts into the body.
-New wine brings joy and boldness , as we are refilled with the wine there comes a joy and boldness, lets pursue the Lord and all that He has for us, there must be more, there is more for us as body, and we’re just on the edge of it, behold He makes all things new.
-A new beginning, Rain-Isaiah 45:8-“You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the LORD, have created it.” Isaiah 44:1-4-“But now listen, O Jacob, my servant, Israel, whom I have chosen. This is what the LORD says— he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid, O Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.”, the Door has opened and is opening…instantaneous fruit has popped up, but there is yet more to come, the floodgates will open, there is a day, a time, set in heaven, that the outpouring will take place, just as Joshua entered the promise land, entering a new season, NEW LAND, there are giants in the land, there will be opposition, struggle, but I see giant slayers, a room full of giant slayers, WE WILL OVERCOME, Rev 12:11-“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Isaiah 58:11-12-“The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” RESTORATION. 2010 year of surprises!
