Letter on Influence from Kristen Fulmer in Taiwan
Dear Metro Family,
I love the words of Psalm 67:1-2, "May God be gracious to us and bless us, and make His face shine upon us, that your ways may be known on the earth, your salvation among all nations." Here we see a connection between God blessing and shining on us personally and that influences others to be drawn to Him. As His face shines on us, we shine out His presence to others...often in ways we don't even know! One specific story from life in Taiwan comes to mind. When my friend Jenny and I were just beginning to get to know each other she asked me one day, "Every time I see you smile your face shines. What's different about you that makes your smile so shining?" Talk about a perfect, natural door to share about Jesus! That question led to many conversations about the Lord and now 2 years later, Jenny has become a follower of Jesus herself! Her own countenance and smile now also shines, causing her family and friends to notice a difference in her. Isn't God so good?!!! May His face shine on you, Metro, and may He amaze you with the doors He opens for you to share about Him in your families and circles of influence. Bless you all!
